In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Exceptional location for transport — The hotel sits right beside Vienna Hauptbahnhof, putting metro, tram and bus stops within a short walk, and the city centre reachable on foot.
  • Quiet garden-view rooms — Several guests praise the calm courtyard outlook and peaceful atmosphere, a rarity so close to a major station.
  • Clean, comfortable rooms with useful amenities — Rooms come with air conditioning, a safe, tea and coffee facilities, and some include a fridge — practical touches for short stays.
  • Solid breakfast with variety — Guests rate the breakfast as having a vast range of options, setting you up for a day of sightseeing.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Dining scores lower than other categories — While breakfast is praised, the dining category rates 7/10 — below location and room scores. Expect functional rather than exceptional food.
  • Check-in starts at 15:00 — If you arrive earlier, you may need to store luggage and wait; check-in runs until 23:59, so late arrivals are fine.
  • Potential noise from station area — Proximity to the main train station means some street-level noise is possible, though courtyard rooms mitigate this.
  • Price may feel high for some budgets — With a from-price of $145 USD, it sits mid-range; given the 4-star class, value depends on your priorities.
